When I started photographing weddings in 2002, I discovered my special power: a superhuman ability to diffuse any situation. Where there should have been pure joy, I saw too many couples unhappy due to details or drama. I started Run Away With Me in 2012 to change wedding planning for the modern couple. Almost a decade later, we’ve married thousands of (happy!) couples in the most beautiful places. With an incredible team, I spend most of my time traveling, scouting gorgeous destinations, and working with venues and vendors so our couples don’t have to.

My love story is pretty great, too: I’m married to my high school sweetheart of 20+ years and have 3 crazy teens who I love to bring along on my travels. At home in wine country, I’m usually testing out a new recipe or uncorking a bottle with friends.

I still remember getting my very first wedding magazine. Every dress and tablescape had me giddy. With a background in theater and dance, I knew how to put on a production, and started planning weddings. At first I was solo, but it was a love match when I found Britt and Run Away With Me.

I love all the pieces of planning and taking them off of couples’ plates so they can celebrate their love leading up to and on their wedding. Day of, my superpower is being able to come up with a solution before any of the guests or the couple even know there’s an issue.

When I'm not at a wedding, I’m at home watching movies with my husband, cheersing at a local brewery or adventuring around California.

I joined Run Away With Me in 2014 as an assistant coordinator. Within months of helping Britt, I had found my passion: photography. After a few years training with her, I’ve now photographed over 700 weddings with Run Away With Me.

I love catching the many subtle, intimate moments between our couples — and, of course, all the beautiful details. My superpower is making people feel comfortable so their personalities shine through in their photos. This is also why I have flip flops in my bag at every wedding: the pain of squeezing into uncomfortable shoes can translate to your face in pictures.

When I’m not shooting, I love hiking with my son... and stalking Instagram for new ideas.

When I joined the Run Away With Me team I knew I had finally found my home. This is a team that cares about each and every couple like their own family, making sure all of the details fall into place, and all of the issues are solved before even being noticed. My passion is to ensure the happiness and the ease of a beautiful wedding, so they can worry about building the foundation of the rest of their lives.  

When I’m not at a wedding you will find me exploring the outdoors- typically near any body of water and camping somewhere near with my beautiful son and family!
